Pre-Orders Advised for Nintendo DSi

Ahead of the much anticipated release of the Nintendo DSi console this Friday, UK retailers have issued a warning that consumers should pre-order the console to risk behind left disappointed when stocks run out, as is expected to happen.
The new DSi console has a retail price of £149 and is set to be a big hit with consumers. Previous launches of major consoles including the Nintendo Wii and Microsoft’s XBOX 360 as well as the Playstation 3, have left consumers waiting months for more stock as they sold out on the launch day.
Don McCabe, from UK retailer Chips warned:
“The supply is tight, there’s just not a great amount of stock out there. Basically everything that we’re getting in is already pre-sold before it hits the shop floor. It’s a 100 per cent sell out for us.”
